Mike leads a team of performance experts, coaching elite sporting, Hybrid and Tactical Athletes from around the world; including organisations such as the UFC and international Special Forces.
Having served in the Parachute Regiment, Special Forces Support Group and the Royal Army Physical Training Corps, Mike was at the forefront of changing the way British Army train today and was credited with 'revolutionising' the army's physical development in multiple citations. His vision was to create an army of Tactical Athletes, where he was awarded multiple times in doing so.
His methods are tried and tested from Tactical Athletes around the globe; boasting the highest pass rates for soldiers going through the most arduous military courses in the country. You can learn more about his philosophy of coaching in his best selling book The Red On Revolution.
Head of Rehab / Head of Operations
Gary spent 14 years in the British Army and has worked in athlete development, sport and fitness since 2009. His final role within the Army was leading a clinical team at Headley Court as a senior Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI).
Gary comes from an elite sporting background with incredible accolades that include a Guinness World Record, time spent as a GB triathlete, a Hyrox world championship qualifier and multiple wins and podiums across Hyrox, Ironman and running races across Europe.
Gary leads the endurance, rehabilitation and operations at Red On.
Clinical Lead
Dr Ash spent 13 years in the Army ; Commando Trained, Airborne and an RAPTCI. He went on to qualify as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) and refined his practice at Headley Court, The Special Boat Service (SBS), The Gurkhas, Commando Forces and The Parachute Regiment.
Dr Cox has a history within elite sport as a national and international competitor in weightlifting and powerlifting. After helping redesign the rehabilitation and treatment pathway for P Company candidates, Dr Cox pursued a PhD in sports, exercise, and health science.
Dr Cox has published as lead author in leading international journals and regularly presents his work at global conferences. His work is largely focussed on musculoskeletal health and has featured in government policy papers and rapid evidence reviews. He leads the nutrition and clinical aspect of the Red On coaching pathways.
Head Of Performance
Isaac served for over 17 years in the British Army. Firstly serving within Airborne Forces as a Tactical Athlete before moving across to performance coaching in 2014.
He was the key driver in modernising the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst (RMAS) PT programme, making the change towards a more structured strength and conditioning protocol. Whilst also being part of the training team qualified to up skill the Army’s Physical training instructor within S&C.
Isaac is the programming specialist at Red On and believes in the psychological readiness required of soldiers and elite athletes to perform at the highest standards. In one of his last appointments successfully integrated Mental Resilience Training into the PTI training syllabus, and unit training which remains to this day.
Gym Manager
Lucy, was the first intern at Red On and has gone on to become an integral part to its rapid growth, becoming the Red On Performance Centre Manager, our Female Lead and Head of Data Analysis.
She leads on all quantitive measurements for our elite sporting and Tactical Athletes. One of Lucy's roles is to onboard, collect and analyse data on all Athletes. We are data driven and Lucy ensures all data we require from you is accounted for to help us make informed decisions on your pathway.
Head of Tactical Pathway
Liam has served 13 years in the British Army, serving with the SCOTS as a Tactical athlete before being selected for the Royal Army Physical Training Corps (RAPTC). Upon competition of his Class 1 course, he continues to educate himself by completing a BSc in Coaching whilst also passing and still serving as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI)
Liam has spent over 10 years as a performance optimisation coach for both civilian and tactical populations, is striding towards an MSc in Human Performance and has a keen interest in functional fitness.
Notably, Liam has competed at international and Army level and has been crowned the 2nd fittest male in the British Army in 2021 and 3rd fittest in 2023 as well as qualifying for the Hyrox World Championships in 2024 and winning multiple Hyrox Flags.
Head of Hyrox Pathway
Dan’s journey is one of relentless drive and adaptability. After 15 years of playing Rugby Union at an elite level—representing Leeds and Yorkshire as a junior before playing for Huddersfield and the University of Birmingham 1st XV— he transitioned his competitive spirit into the world of Hyrox.
Since stepping away from rugby in 2021, Dan has made a name for himself on the global Hyrox stage. Since 2022, he has raced across the world, securing 16 podium finishes and earning qualification for the Hyrox World Championships four years in a row (2022-2025) in both Singles and Doubles. His journey from the rugby pitch to elite Hyrox racing showcases his unwavering dedication to high-performance sport and pushing the limits of human performance.
Alongside his athletic career, Dan also brings a sharp strategic mindset from the world of Finance. Starting at KPMG in 2017, he gained invaluable experience in Corporate Finance before joining Clearwater in 2023, advising businesses and Private Equity firms. His ability to balance a demanding career with elite-level competition is a testament to his discipline, resilience, and drive for excellence.
